Can NYC Really Go "Full Socialist" Under the New Mayor? Not So Fast!

New York City has just elected Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, as its next Mayor. This has sparked conversations – and for some, concerns – about the future direction of the city. While the Mayor-elect's political leanings are clear, the reality of governing NYC means that any drastic, unilateral shift towards a "socialist system" faces significant roadblocks. Why?
