Israeli wanted for fraud on INTERPOL warrant deported

NEW YORK - An Israeli national wanted for fraud in his native country was deported this week by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). Moshe Sussman, 31, was flown to Tel Aviv, Israel, on a commercial flight from Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, N.J. Upon his arrival in Tel Aviv, ICE ERO officers transferred him to the custody of Israeli law enforcement authorities. Sussman is wanted in Israel on financial fraud charges totaling $1.9 million. He was taken into custody at his home in Brooklyn, N.Y., by ICE ERO fugitive operations and the U.S. Marshals Service on March 17. "This removal will allow Israeli authorities to proceed with prosecution of a crime alleged to have occurred in their country. FBI Seeks Fugitive Wanted in Connection with “Operation Stolen Dreams”

On Thursday, June 17, 2010 the FBI’s Mortgage Fraud Task Force, comprised of the FBI, HUD, NY State Banking Department, U.S. Secret Service, FDIC, Federal Reserve Bank, USPIS, SDNY, and the IRS conducted numerous arrests and search warrants in an ongoing federal mortgage fraud investigation. Investigators from SIGTARP and HIFCA also participated. This is part of the national initiative “Operation Stolen Dreams.” Orit Tuil is a fugitive and the FBI seeks to identify her location and arrest her. As a real estate broker, Tuil allegedly found straw buyers to purchase houses. She is alleged to have tricked individuals, who were in foreclosure, into transferring the deeds of their houses to her. Once she had the deeds, she would then obtain mortgages and sell the properties to other straw buyers.

CONVICTED MURDERER, PRISON ESCAPEE BECOMES MOST WANTED WOMAN IN AMERICA

Washington – Sarah Pender was behind bars serving a 110-year sentence before she escaped in August from the Rockville Correctional Facility in Indiana. Today, she is the most wanted woman in America after being added to the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted fugitive list. Pender, 29, was convicted in 2002 on two counts of murder. In 2000, Pender and her boyfriend purchased a shotgun and returned to their residence where they shot their two roommates. After killing the roommates, Pender and her boyfriend disposed of the bodies in a trash dumpster. While serving her sentence, prison authorities believe Pender befriended a correctional officer, who allegedly helped her escape. Prison security footage on the day she escaped shows Pender walking toward a prison exit at the same time the guard drove into the facility to get gasoline.
